We have both really enjoyed our stay here.  The renovation of the cottage, the presentation and attention to detail is all excellent.  All of Laurence's prints are both interesting and very professionally produced.  You are both to be congratulated.  Again, the location is excellent.  The walks on the hills were great with supern views.  The fact that we could also walk to the beach was a bonus.  The ease of access to all coastal resorts is also very convenient.  Al in all, excellent!

We have had a wonderful week at Wern Cottage which was the perfect base for or holiday.  The welcome pack, flowers and other touches made it very special.  We travelled throughout north Wales (and Ludlow) and it was great to get back to such a lovely and relaxing place every evening.  A real home from home.  Would recommend Bay of Bengal in the village.  The best Indian meal we have had - great service and stunning views. (Good takeaway too!)  Tuesday night quiz night at the Fairy Glen was great craic!  We loved watching the birds and squirrel in the garden and even saw a woodpecker!  Thanks Jane & Laurence.  We loved everything!

We had a lovely short break at the cottage, all helped by the beautiful weather.  We settled straight into the holiday it being our second visit to the cottage.  Again, this time there has been loads of things for us to enjoy....walks on the pass, walking on the beach, swimming in the sea and the odd glass of wine to name a few!!  We can recommend the Tavern Restaurant at Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey,  1/2 hour drive, the views are wonderful and can walk your lunch off (which was fantastic) on the beach afterwards.  Alfie says he will be back!!

A real home from home with everything we needed and more.  Shame we can't take this beautiful cottage with us!  It is the first place I have stayed I have wanted to cook.  Thank you for the added bonus of the welcome pack and flowers and the photography displayed around the cottage is stunning.  We had an amazing time walking up Snowdon and the mist at the top cleared to reveal a stunning view.  We all did the ZipWire 'Velocity' which was amazing and a tour of the hydro electric power station was fascinating.  Will definitely book to stay here again if we come up this way or recommend to our friends.  Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely holiday, fantastic cottage with welcoming local pub 'The Fairy Glen'.  Enjoyed the quiz night on Tuesday.  Recommend the Watson's Bistro in Conwy.  We went for lunch, the food was delicious.  The Time Coffee House in Conwy was a regular stop.  Very enjoyable, Beaumaris on Anglesey was a delight.

We've had a lovely holiday - great cosy cottage to come back to.  Welcome pack and flowers very nice addition.  Food at Fairy Glen is good.  We did a great boat trip to Puffin Island.  We used Starida and we even made it up Snowdon (Ranger Path) - sadly it was cloudy at the top but I am sure we will be back to try it again.

This is our second stay in Wern Cottage.  It has been just as good!  Meals in the Fairy Glen are excellent (and generous!)  Once again the Austrian Restaurant has been closed each time we went.  Next time eh?   The weather has been scorching, lucky us!  A short storm last night cooled the air.  The Snowdon Cafe (Pen Ceunant) once again was a welcoming place - there's even a foot spa on offer for sore travellers!  Puffin Island (off Anglesey) was spectacular - we would recommend Sea Coast Safaris - very knowledgeable, gave everyone on board a chance to see the seals, puffins, guillemots, razorbills and cormorants.  They even lend coats to folk who are not prepared for a sea breeze!  Thanks again Jane & Laurence!

This is the second time we have stayed in Wern Cottage and just as good second time around.  Although weather not fantastic we managed to get out and about.  Can recommend train up to Snowdon althought he day we went it was pretty full, so glad we booked.  Visited RSPB nature reserve Conwy but were disappointed as all birds shy the day we went!  Mainly saw Canada Geese, Mallards, Moorhens.  Love walking along front in Llandudno but parking an issue.  Recommend the Austrian Restaurant.  We went for Sunday Lunch and well worth the money.  Seahorse in Llandudno serve an excellent variety of fish.  Well recommended.  Thank you Jane & Laurence for the stay in your delightful cottage and we will return.

Out-of-this-world-charming...5 star everything.   Stayed for a week after Christmas and over New Year with my partner and father. The cottage was a great size, had everything we needed and was perfect really. The cottage has plenty of places to sit (a favourite was watching different bird species, and a squirrel, use the garden).

There is the constant sound of water rushing down the creek below the cottage and this is really relaxing.

I found communicating with Jane and Laurence before and during the booking very convenient and they were extremely helpful at all times. The cottage has everything you need to settle in, but also excellent maps, guides and walking suggestions for activities in the region.

On New Years eve we walked 50 m down to the village pub to celebrate and the locals were really welcoming and shared paper lanterns that we all let off after midnight.

North Wales really is a special place.

Wern Cottage is absolutely beautiful and feels more like home than a holiday rental.  It's in a perfect location: quiet, peaceful surroundings between the mountains and the sea, yet still convenient for so many sight-seeing destinations.  We love the layout and the heated flooring to name just two (we could fill the whole book if we were to list them all!)  We've already recommended Wern to family and friends.  We're sorry to leave and would be quite happy to move in permanently if such a thing were possible!!

Brilliant cottage, like a home from home.  We will definitely come again.  All the comforts we might need are here.  We've had a good week, so much to see and do.  For a sheltered beach ideal for young families try Benllech on Anglesey.  We also enjoyed the waterfalls - Conwy Falls and Swallow Falls.  Also the delights of Anglesey and Llandudno.  Perfect time to see the beautiful purple heather come out.  Thanks so much for the welcome treats.

This our first cottage holiday. The cottage is very comfortable in a good location with every access to many interesting places, including walks from the front door. Enjoyed RSPB Nature Reserve at South Stack (saw peregrine on the cliff) and Church Bay on the Isle of Anglesey. Also fantastic gardens at National Trust properties, Bodnant, and Plas Newydd. Highly recommend 'Edwards' the butchers in Conwy, Welsh Oggies are delicious.
