We've had a lovely holiday - great cosy cottage to come back to. Welcome pack and flowers very nice addition. Food at Fairy Glen is good. We did a great boat trip to Puffin Island. We used Starida and we even made it up Snowdon (Ranger Path) - sadly it was cloudy at the top but I am sure we will be back to try it again.
Angela & Steve, London - September '15
We have had a fantastic holidsay and it's been made even better knowing this beautiful cottage is what we have to come home to after a day out. Thank you so much for all the little touches! Hope to stay again sometime in the up and and coming year.
Georgina & Trevor, Norfolk - September '15
Thank you for a lovely holiday in your beautifully appointed cottage.
Sarah & Marcus - September '15
Another great stay at the cottage. Thank you for all your treats. The children have discovered crabbing! What a great way to keep everyone entertained. Watson's Bistro in Conwy is excellent and have a kid's menu. We will return!
The Smyth Family - Bishopsthorpe, YORK - Aug/September '15
We have had a lovely stay at the cottage thank you. We loved looking at the scenery, watching the wildlife and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, despite mixed weather. Conwy is a must, lovely town and great castle. The cottage is very well equipped, peaceful and very relaxing at the end of a busy day. We really appreciated the welcome pack too - thank you.
John, Bec and Jack, Nottingham - August '15
We have really enjoyed our stay. Lovely location, scenery and house. Weather not brilliant but it didn't keep us in! Thank You!
Carole, Chris & Margaret, Doncaster/Dorset - August '15
Had a very enjoyable stay here in Capelulo and was lucky enough to have good weather (only the odd shower). Was great fun watching the birds and squirrels from the conservatory and the children found it hilarious to see the sheep visit us on a morning to attempt to eat our hedges. Cottage is lovely and homely. Amazing holiday with plenty of places to see, lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Adele, Steve, Dylan & Caidan, York - August '15
We have had a great time here in Capelulo. The Fairy Glen food is very good. Beware of the sheep on a morning eating the bushes! The cottage is a lovely place and we enjoyed our stay here.
Robert, Debbie and Lucy, Leeds - July/Aug '15
Our seconvisit and the cottage is as beautiful as ever. We had a lovely time staying here and visiting the surrounding area. The Austrian Restaurant is great and Llandudno is a fantastic day out.
Sarah, Rob & Adam, Rugby, Warwickshire - July '15
Thank you for providing us with a lovely cottage in which to spend a week's holiday. Excellent accommodation, lots of amenities, spectacular views! We even attended and participated in the quiz night at the Fairy Glenpub. The Welcome Package was greatly appreciated. Many Thanks!

Ian & Julie, Altrincham - July '15
I can only echo everything that has been written before! Lovely cottage, excellent facilities and great location. We've enjoyed many local walks with fabulous views. Thank you for your hospitality.
Ruth & Michael, Sheffield - July '15
This is our second stay in Wern Cottage. It has been just as good! Meals in the Fairy Glen are excellent (and generous!) Once again the Austrian Restaurant has been closed each time we went. Next time eh? The weather has been scorching, lucky us! A short storm last night cooled the air. The Snowdon Cafe (Pen Ceunant) once again was a welcoming place - there's even a foot spa on offer for sore travellers! Puffin Island (off Anglesey) was spectacular - we would recommend Sea Coast Safaris - very knowledgeable, gave everyone on board a chance to see the seals, puffins, guillemots, razorbills and cormorants. They even lend coats to folk who are not prepared for a sea breeze! Thanks again Jane & Laurence!
Chris & Carol Burch, BUCKS - July '15
This is the second time we have stayed in Wern Cottage and just as good second time around. Although weather not fantastic we managed to get out and about. Can recommend train up to Snowdon althought he day we went it was pretty full, so glad we booked. Visited RSPB nature reserve Conwy but were disappointed as all birds shy the day we went! Mainly saw Canada Geese, Mallards, Moorhens. Love walking along front in Llandudno but parking an issue. Recommend the Austrian Restaurant. We went for Sunday Lunch and well worth the money. Seahorse in Llandudno serve an excellent variety of fish. Well recommended. Thank you Jane & Laurence for the stay in your delightful cottage and we will return.
Mike & Jackie, Hampshire - June '15
Thanky you for an enjoyable and relaxing short break. A lovely cottage and beautiful scenery.
Sue & John, Ingleton, N.Yorkshire - June '15
This is our second visit and it has been a wonderful holiday again. Our eldest daughter has cart-wheeled around North Wales and says that the lush green grass at Bodnant is the best! We ventured to Chester Zoo and were impressed by the vast number of animal and birds and how well kept they were. We are sad to leave. There is still lots to see in N.Wales and hope to return again. Thank you Jane & Laurence for such a comfortable cottage and for all the treats.
Deb, David, Isabelle & Grace, BUCKS - May '15
Thanks for a truly wonderful holiday. Everything has been perfect - cottage, location, the welcome pack.

What a fantastic place and wond wonderful cottage. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The grandchildren loved the beaches and wild ponies! Matilda loved the lambs opposite - especially number "8" lamb. Very welcoming and extremely comfortable home Hope to return soon, as a great base to visit Conwy, Llandudno etc.
Gaynor, Marly & Matilda, W.Yorkshire & Leicester - April '15

Chris, Di, Andrew & Susan, Derbyshire - January '15
Out-of-this-world-charming...5 star everything. Stayed for a week after Christmas and over New Year with my partner and father. The cottage was a great size, had everything we needed and was perfect really. The cottage has plenty of places to sit (a favourite was watching different bird species, and a squirrel, use the garden).
There is the constant sound of water rushing down the creek below the cottage and this is really relaxing.
I found communicating with Jane and Laurence before and during the booking very convenient and they were extremely helpful at all times. The cottage has everything you need to settle in, but also excellent maps, guides and walking suggestions for activities in the region.
On New Years eve we walked 50 m down to the village pub to celebrate and the locals were really welcoming and shared paper lanterns that we all let off after midnight.
North Wales really is a special place.
Ben, Australia - New Year 2014/15
Lovely week in your gorgeous house. Loved the birdwatching in the garden. Would love to return soon. Thank You.
Nicky, Paul & Jack, Hyde, Cheshire - Oct/Nov '14
We've holidayed in the area many times and found the cottage perfect for what we like to do - walking straight out of the door and onto one of our favourite walks - Conwy Mountain. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. We are sure to be back.
Alan & Mary, Bonchester Bridge, Scottish Borders - October '14
Wern Cottage is absolutely beautiful and feels more like home than a holiday rental. It's in a perfect location: quiet, peaceful surroundings between the mountains and the sea, yet still convenient for so many sight-seeing destinations. We love the layout and the heated flooring to name just two (we could fill the whole book if we were to list them all!) We've already recommended Wern to family and friends. We're sorry to leave and would be quite happy to move in permanently if such a thing were possible!!
Stuart & Dani, Paignton, Devon & Cwmbran, Wales - September '14
Thank you for the wonderful stay at your cottage! The cottage was perfect and we were sad to leave after our stay at Wern. The hand-cut flowers, basket and warm decorations were wonderful touches and much appreciated. We climbed Mt. Snowdon, went on local walks, visited Conwy Castle and took in the coast. Would love to come back to this paradise - Thank you for everything! We will recommend Wern Cottage to all our friends. All the Best.
Luigi, Margaret & Claire, Toronto, Canada - September '14
Everything has been good! We loved our stay in your cottage and this beautiful area. You are blessed to live here! We will come again some day, that's for sure. Thank you very much! All the Best x
Ines & Dennis, Detlingen, Germany - September '14
We had a wonderful stay here - fantastic weather. It's a great location in a home away from home. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. There were so many nice touches, be it the welcome basket, the flowers everywhere, the little chocolates on the bed..... we do hope to come back soon!
Miriam, Danny, Lothar & Sonja, Bangor & Lake Constance - August '14
This has been an excellent place to stay! We actually feel a twinge of sadness about leaving - we've appreciated all your kind touches throughout and have loved the peace and quiet, just listening to the river and birds (& the sheep!) I want to bring the kitchen home with me! Really appreciated a "proper" kitchen! We've barely scratched the surface of things to do in the area.... so hopefully we'll return again next year :) A genuine thank you - you've thought of everything a family would need for a stay - we wish you well for the future!
Daid, Diane & Eleanor, Belfast, N.Ireland - August '14
Brilliant cottage, like a home from home. We will definitely come again. All the comforts we might need are here. We've had a good week, so much to see and do. For a sheltered beach ideal for young families try Benllech on Anglesey. We also enjoyed the waterfalls - Conwy Falls and Swallow Falls. Also the delights of Anglesey and Llandudno. Perfect time to see the beautiful purple heather come out. Thanks so much for the welcome treats.
Margaret, Richard, Isabel & Finlay, Bishopsthorpe, York - August '14
This our first cottage holiday. Never had an experience of how the cottage will be, how we will manage etc. But this felt like a home that Mum has kept ready for a newly wedded couple; who are unaware how to manage themselves. The experience is so wonderful that we will come again and again. We are highly satisfied with the service and we are sure that a lot of friends would be recommended by us.
Vishesh, Rajesh, London - July '14
Thank you so much for your kind attention to detail. We absolutely loved our stay in Wales and in lovely Wern Cottage. We hope to visit again soon!

We had a lovely week. Beautifully equipped cottage with lots of thoughtful features, including the pictures and all those gorgeous photos, and so much useful info. We recommend the Austrian restaurant (don't eat lunch!) and The Gladstone and enjoyed especially Conwy Castle, a visit to Bodnant Gardens and Great Orme for lovely beach walks and views.
Katharine and Norman, Downham Market, Norfolk - July '14
Beautiful location and accommodation, along with a very warm welcome and lots to do. Everything was here, including maps for hiking, rainy day activities and all we could want for cooking/dining. We hope to be back again for a much longer stay!
Vicky, Greg and Liz, Lexington, MA, USA - July '14
Thank you so much for this wonderful cottage. For the first time ever we have preferred to stay and relax in the garden or conservatory just soaking up the views in the sun! We have pushed ourselves out of the door and walked the hills, taken the train up Snowdon, eaten in the 'Fairy Glen', walked up the Great Orme to find fascinating butterflies, Conwy RSPB reserve to see unusual species. In short, a great welcome, a great cottage, great views!
Chris & Carol, Stokenchurch, BUCKS - June '14
Thank you very much for a wonderful cottage, we have had a fantastic week. The cottage is very comfortable in a good location with every access to many interesting places, including walks from the front door. Enjoyed RSPB Nature Reserve at South Stack (saw peregrine on the cliff) and Church Bay on the Isle of Anglesey. Also fantastic gardens at National Trust properties, Bodnant, and Plas Newydd. Highly recommend 'Edwards' the butchers in Conwy, Welsh Oggies are delicious.
Deb, David, Grace and Isabelle, BUCKS - May '14

We couldn’t have asked for more. Without a doubt the best accommodation we have had in North Wales. The cottage is ideally situated, with sun all day long and a beautiful, peaceful setting. And so beautifully decorated! Thank you for the welcome basket and for all the small touches that make this home so inviting. We especially loved the paintings and photographs which bring the spectacular North Wales landscape in. We will be back!
