Llandudno

Just 10 Minutes by car...

With it's fabulous pier, Victorian promenade, Great Orme and host of other attractions, Llandudno is rightly known as the premier North Wales holiday resort.

RSPB - Conwy

Just a short drive away...

Situated on the banks of the Conwy estuary, with magnificent views of Snowdonia and Conwy Castle, this reserve is delightful at any time of year

Bodnant Garden

World famous National Trust garden noted for its botanical collection

Situated above the river Conwy with stunning views across Snowdonia. Features huge Italianate terraces and formal lawns on its upper level and a wooded valley, stream and wild garden below.   Dramatic colours can be enjoyed throughout the season.

Conwy Castle and Plas Mawr

Conwy town is a World Heritage Site and just three miles from Wern Cottage.

Built for King Edward I between 1283-87, Conwy  Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. 

 

Plas Mawr is possibly the best preserved Elizabethan town house in Great Britain. Built by Robert Wynn between 1576 and 1585, it dominates the town with its gatehouse, stepped gables and lookout

tower.

A Beautiful Conservation Zoo

Set high above Colwyn Bay with panoramic views and breathtaking scenery.

Pensychnant Conservation Centre

This 120 acre estate is a nature reserve and home to rare moths, pied flycatchers, redstarts, cuckoo's, ravens and more.   Also an excellent starting point for many spectacular hill walks.
